GREAT FINDS.
ONLY AT THE GALLERY OF THUM
Most unique rings you will find. All one of a kind. Conversation pieces to the max. Nosey Parker favorite: Spanish man on a see-saw. Emerging in Spokane Sterling Silver metal smith and sculpture artist Annie Hague has arrived in Spokane. Annie's sculptures for the hand and table will be at the Gallery of THUM throughout the winter season so if not for Christmas then Valentines is the perfect time to buy a Annie Hague piece of jewelry. Or how about one of her one of a kind boxes? Annie was recently on the cover of The Voice of Choices (Magazine). Annie Hague's Brief Biological Sketch--written in first person: The call to open my metalsmithing studio came the moment I planned to walk away from corporate life after 20 years. I collected equipment, set up a shop and commenced jewelry making production and fabrication. My encouragement came and continued after my first gallery display feature and big pay date! The rings are smooth and comfortable geometric and architectural shapes that can be worn as one ring, or as a sculptural stack of many. The fabricated sculptures for the hand are one-of-a-kind works that can be worn, enjoyed, shown off, and then displayed as an object of art. The inspiration for the shapes comes from all things architectural, mechanical, and anything else that looks cool. I have studied with acclaimed metal smiths and world renowned jewelry artists gaining skills and techniques that are unique to the process of fine metals ring making. My gallery showings in the past 15 years have been throughout the United States and Europe and have included over 150 locations, and excitedly, now includes Spokane, Washington. Collectors of the stackable series of rings are always able to find another piece to add to their own sculpture for the hand. As the rings got bigger, I bought a woodworking gouge and mallet and added wood carving to the repertoire to help get those big pieces onto the stage.
